CRO Specialist

Technical Analyst

Full-Time
  • 0-2 years of experience in heat transfer analysis and CFD, preferably in the automotive and combustion engines field.

A Technical Analyst for heat transfer analysis and CFD in the automotive and combustion engines field is responsible for conducting simulations and analysis of heat transfer and fluid flow in various automotive systems, such as internal combustion engines, exhaust systems, and cooling systems. This role requires knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and numerical methods as applied to automotive and combustion engine applications.

  • Conducting heat transfer and CFD simulations of internal combustion engines, exhaust systems, and cooling systems using software tools such as GT-Power, CONVERGE, and STAR-CCM+.
  • Analyzing simulation results to identify trends and draw conclusions that will be used to improve the design and performance of automotive systems.
  • Collaborating with other engineers and designers to provide technical guidance and support for automotive projects related to heat transfer and fluid flow.
  • Developing and validating mathematical models for heat transfer and fluid flow phenomena as applied to automotive and combustion engine applications.
  • Writing technical reports and presenting findings to stakeholders and other members of the project team.
  • Staying up to date with the latest research and development in heat transfer and CFD as applied to automotive and combustion engine applications, and applying this knowledge to improve simulation accuracy and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting issues with simulations and providing recommendations for solutions for automotive systems.
  • Providing technical support to other departments or teams within the organization as needed for automotive systems.
  • Participating in research projects and developing new analysis methods to improve the accuracy and efficiency of heat transfer and CFD simulations for automotive systems, especially for internal combustion engines.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
  • 0-2 years of experience in heat transfer analysis and CFD, preferably in the automotive and combustion engines field.
  • Experience with software tools such as GT-Power, ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, CONVERGE, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and numerical methods as applied to automotive and combustion engine applications.
  • Knowledge of internal combustion engine design, including fuel injection, combustion, and emissions control.
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as SpaceClaim, SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX.
  • Knowledge of mesh generation software such as ANSYS Meshing, Pointwise, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Back-End Software Engineer/Developer

Full-Time
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in backend software development and engineering.

A Back-End Software Engineer/Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end systems that support our scientific and physics simulation software.

  • Design, develop and maintain backend systems and databases using various programming languages and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend systems.
  • Develop and optimize simulation software for scientific and physics applications.
  • Participate in code and design reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in the development of project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in backend software development and engineering.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Fortran, Python, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and/or shell scripts.
  • Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.

Front-End Software Engineer/Developer

A Front-End Software Engineer/Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining desktop applications that utilize WPF and Qt frameworks for our scientific and engineering simulation software.

  • Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using WPF and Qt frameworks.
  • Develop user interfaces that are efficient, intuitive, and visually appealing.
  • Participate in code and design reviews.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
  • Participate in the development of project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Develop software utilizing visualization libraries, with a preference for Kitware VTK.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in front-end software development and engineering.
